Join a manufacturing team as an Operations Manager in Gauteng!
In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily operations in a manufacturing plant, improving productivity, reducing waste, and ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards. You will focus on cost, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You will oversee preventative and corrective maintenance schedules. You will drive cost control measures. You will support and lead strategic projects. Your expertise in processes, lean manufacturing, and equipment maintenance will be essential in ensuring cost-effective production and long-term performance improvements.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in a senior operations role within a manufacturing environment. You should possess an understanding of technical, operational and commercial factors. A tertiary engineering qualification (Bachelor’s degree) is required. Strong leadership, problem-solving, business acumen, and teamwork skills will also be valuable. A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning is needed.
