Our client based in Centurion, is currently seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead all HR functions within their South African operations. While you will be the primary HR professional locally, you will be part of a global HR team, collaborating on strategic initiatives and aligning local HR policies with international standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional with a strong understanding of compliance, stakeholder management, and operational HR in a fast-paced contact centre environment.

Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with local labour laws (BCEA, LRA, EE Act, OHSA, POPIA) and manage labour relations, including disciplinary actions and CCMA representation. Develop, implement, and localise HR policies and processes in alignment with global standards. Advise senior leadership on HR risks, compliance, and best practices while ensuring adherence to EE & B-BBEE reporting and workplace safety requirements. Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition strategies in collaboration with the global HR team. Act as the primary HR contact, providing guidance on employee relations, workplace issues, and fostering a positive, inclusive culture. Drive performance management, employee engagement, and learning & development initiatives. Oversee HR administration, including payroll support, contracts, and benefits coordination. Contribute to HR reporting, workforce planning, and local HR projects such as DE&I and process improvements.
Requirements:
Degree in Human Resources or equivalent HR & employment law qualification. 5+ years in HR, including 3+ years in a senior role, ideally in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (preferably a contact centre). Strong knowledge of South African employment laws, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. Ability to balance local HR needs within a global framework and work across different time zones and cultures. Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and HR analytics.
