Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the full spectrum of financial services within the division. Review and interpret monthly management accounts and recommend corrective actions. Conduct operational analyses to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement. Evaluate and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. Manage working capital including debtors, creditors, and inventory. Oversee payroll, statutory payments, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure supply chain and financial targets are met. Supervise treasury operations, banking profiles, and foreign exchange contracts (FECs). Prepare annual financial reporting packs and implement relevant IFRS updates. Manage procurement, inventory levels, stock control, and supplier/customer master data. Compile, consolidate, and manage budget templates and forecasts. Provide analytical support for strategic projects and ad-hoc financial requests.

Qualifications & Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) essential. Previous experience in a wholesale / retail concern is highly advantageous Knowledge of forex accounting, forex hedging, FEC's and imports is essential Minimum 5 years post-articles experience in financial management. In-depth knowledge of IFRS, South African financial regulations, VAT, and corporate tax. Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Background in project environments will be advantageous. Proven success in financial analysis, cost control, internal controls, and corporate governance.
