Minimum requirements:Matric plus a relevant culinary certificate or diploma 4 to 5 years experience in a similar senior kitchen role, ideally in a lodge or luxury hospitality setting Valid drivers license Valid First Aid Certificate is highly advantageous A portfolio showcasing your work as a Chef is required Key Responsibilities:
Full management of the kitchen including menu planning, innovation, and execution Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards Source high-quality ingredients in a cost-effective manner from approved suppliers Understand and cater for a variety of dietary requirements and guest preferences Oversee stock control, kitchen hygiene, and inventory procedures Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling standards Lead and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management Adhere to internal HR and industrial relations policies
