Restaurant/Bakery in V&A Cape Town has the following positions available to start immediately:
FOH MANAGER:
Must have at least 2-3 years experience as a Floor Manger, responsibilities will include training of staff, handling customers complaints/complements, daily cash ups (waiters/cashier) opening and closing of restaurant, weekly monthly stock take.
WAITERS:
Looking for experience waiters to join the team must have at least 1-2 years experience as a waiter serving breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. Must be friendly well spoken willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
JUNIOR BAKER:
Looking for a Junior baker with at least 2-3 years experience in a similar roll.
knowledge of stock take, following recipes, baking of rolls, bread, baguettes will be a advantage.
PASTRY CHEF:
Must have at least 2-3 years experience as a pastry chef, baking of croissants, cakes, tartlets etc. responsibilities will include stock take, ensuring display is set up on time, following recipes according to company procedure.
BOH MANAGER:
Must have at least 2-4 years experience in a similar roll, responsibilities will include but not limited to the following weekly monthly stock take, ordering of stock daily and weekly, running of the pass, training of staff members etc.
BOH SUPERVISOR:
Must have at least 2 years experience as a kitchen supervisor, responsibilities will include, receiving of stock, ordering of stock running of pass, ensuring prep for the day is sufficient, staff follows recipes as per company procedure.
