LOCATION – CAPE TOWN SALARY: MARKET RELATED WITH MEDICAL AID/PROVIDENT FUND We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Banqueting and Events Manager to join our prestigious client’s team and lead the planning and execution of all events and banqueting operations. Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and oversee all events, including conferences, banquets, weddings, and corporate functions.Liaise with clients to understand their event vision and ensure it is executed to the highest standard.Lead and manage the banqueting team to deliver outstanding service and seamless operations.Work closely with the Sales, Kitchen, and F&B teams to ensure all event requirements are met.Monitor event budgets, control costs, and maximise revenue opportunities.Oversee setup, breakdown, and smooth operation of all events.Conduct post-event evaluations and client follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies. Requirements:Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a similar events or banqueting management role, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.High attention to detail and a passion for delivering top-tier service.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays based on event schedules.Proficiency in events management software and MS Office; Opera; MC knowledge is a plus.
