CALL DESK MANAGEMENT
Logging all incoming (new) jobs received via e-mail, fax or purchase order on Pastel Opening a new file for each job Printing out a job card from the system Directing the request or problem to the most appropriate support area Supplying daily feedback of calls to customers Managing the daily work schedule (jobs scheduled daily) Managing the Team Schedule daily Contacting customers to confirm their availability for the day the installation team is scheduled to attend to requests Ensuring that job files and site visit files are available at all times for call logging Managing sub-contractors: communication; training, etc. Attending staff meetings and other administrative meetingsRECEPTION DUTIES
Controlling visitors access to the office Operating switchboard, receiving, and relaying calls to the appropriate recipients Taking messages, where necessary, and distributing timeously to the correct recipients Handling general enquiries and direct through to the correct recipients, when required Inherent requirements for the position
