Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe Gauteng Regional Manager is responsible for effectively managing the region to achieve nationally set objectives for dream fulfilment and fundraising, aligned with the Foundations strategy and business plans. The role requires overseeing projects, outings, and operational functions while ensuring adherence to policies and standards. The incumbent must travel to Pretoria twice a week and be willing to travel to Polokwane and Mpumalanga when needed for ad hoc special projects.
Planning and Administration: Align services with strategic objectives.
Plan and implement projects with staff and volunteers.
Evaluate progress quarterly and submit monthly reports.
Ensure compliance with branding and marketing standards.
Ensure compliance with all relevant technologies.
Manage company assets, including IT equipment and office supplies.
Financial Management: Draft and manage the annual budget.
Oversee petty cash and financial transactions.
Ensure proper financial recordkeeping and forecasting.
Manage and control spending across the region.
People Management: Handle all staff-related administration.
Conduct regular status meetings and performance reviews.
Motivate staff to achieve targets.
Ensure dream fulfilment targets are met annually.
Oversee project implementation in line with operational guidelines.
Meet a dream objective of 98 dreams per month.
Network with hospitals and hospital stakeholders to ensure high dream quality.
Manage sub-projects, including Laughter Heroes, Dream Room interns, and special projects related to children.
Volunteer Management: Conduct training for new volunteers. Attend monthly volunteer meetings. Manage volunteer appreciation initiatives.
Collaboration & Marketing Support: Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide timely feedback and share knowledge to support the team.
Support marketing initiatives where needed to promote the Foundations objectives.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
National Diploma, preferably in Business Management.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years at a management level.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Excel knowledge.
