Our client, a well-established Legal Practice is requiring a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their team. The purpose of this role is executing a variety of conveyancing paralegal duties of a confidential nature. These tasks will include working with attorneys, paralegals, and other members of the firm with a series of administrative functions.

- Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving instructions from various banks to attend to the registration of mortgage bonds
- Preparing various transfer, bond, and related conveyancing documents independently
- Drafting of residential / home loan mortgage bond documents for the major banks.
- Contacting and liaising with clients, municipalities, SARS, managing agents, banks, and attorneys
- Attending to the collection of costs from clients
- Compiling and amending documents for lodgement and registration
- Attending to the deed’s office process and the bank's processes to successfully register transactions
- Attending to all financial aspects of all transactions, including final accounts
- Preparing debit notes, credit notes and other accounting queries
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / National Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 6-10 Years’ experience working in a conveyancing environment
- Experienced paralegal with both transfer and bonds experience with Standard Bank and Nedbank Bank
- Computer Literate (MS Office Suite) including Excel
- In depth knowledge of the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions is essential
- Knowledge of FICA
