A leading company based in Richards Bay is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join their dynamic team and take charge of both administrative and transactional HR functions. Key Responsibilities: HR Administration:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, databases, and HR systems. Prepare and process HR documentation such as contracts, offer letters, and compliance paperwork. Oversee the full onboarding, induction, and offboarding cycle. Transactional HR:Support payroll inputs, leave tracking, and benefits administration. Assist with performance management, including probation reviews and KPIs. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including interview coordination and communication with candidates. Compliance & Labour Law:
Ensure all HR practices are compliant with South African labour legislation and company policies. Advise line managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary action and grievances. Assist with preparations for inquiries, conciliations, arbitrations, and manage conciliations effectively. Compile and maintain documentation required for hearings and legal compliance audits. Employee Relations:
Act as a key point of contact for staff HR-related queries. Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives. Reporting & Metrics:
Generate reports and HR analytics to support management decisions. Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and compliance deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. 5 8 years experience in a similar HR management role. Strong understanding of South African payroll regulations and HR compliance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
