My client in centurion has a position for JUNIOR VALUER (CANDIDATE VALUER. The candidate must be available for interviews and to start 1st May 2025.
MAIN DUTIES (to include but not limited to):
Assisting the Principal Professional Valuer, expected to demonstrate some level of self-management and self-motivation and be able to work under pressure within a team. You are required to meet reporting objectives and quality standards, and must:
Comply with procedures as laid out in the International Valuation Standards with diligence and professionalism; Comply with the company Groups internal processes, standards and protocols (IT and other); Maintain orderly electronic file records of research and working documents; Adhere to the required levels of confidentiality as set out in each client brief and on company confidential matters; Collate, draft and prepare valuation reports in terms of the required formats under the Professional Valuers supervision; Understand and be proficient in the use of all the office technology employed in undertaking valuations. Develop a sound knowledge of the South African commercial property market and associated case law. Abide by the requirements of Continuing Professional Development as required by the SACPVP. Take a close interest in property and sector reports in the media to enhance your knowledge of the market.
