JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Junior Graphic Designer position available.

Your National Diploma in Graphic Design as well as:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of three years experience
  • Experience in video recording, filming techniques, and lighting setup
  • Experience in designing for digital and print
  • Basic audio editing skills (Adobe Audition is an advantage)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

    will enable you to fulfill the following duties:

    • GRAPHIC DESIGN
      • Meet the various design and typesetting requirements of the marketing team.
      • This involves a mixture of working in pre-existing templates as well as free design and setting up new templates.
      • Design output will vary from companys annual report, flyers, brochures, stationery, invitations, graphics, economic reports, photos and direct mail.
      • All design work needs to be in accordance with the marketing style guide to ensure brand integrity and high output quality is maintained.
      • Improve existing design outputs.
      • Meet with the Senior Graphic Designer to determine the scope of a project.
      • Create images that identify a service/product.
      • Develop graphics for illustrations, logos, and websites.

      • Video Production and Editing

        • Filming & Recording:

          • Plan, set up, and shoot high-quality video content (interviews, promotional videos, social media content, events, etc.).

          • Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure professional-quality recordings.

          • Direct and collaborate with team members or clients during shoots.

          • Editing and Post-Production:

            • Edit videos with smooth transitions, motion graphics, text overlays, and sound design.

            • Colour correct, enhance footage, and apply visual effects using Premiere Pro & After Effects.

            • Optimise videos for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).

            • Manage video files, backups, and media organisation.

              People

              • Market the company in a professional manner to clients and prospective clients and maintain sound business relationships with existing clients.
              • Communicate with others in ways that are clear, concise and understandable.
              • Demonstrate ease in relating to a diverse range of people of varying backgrounds, ages, experience and education levels.

                Processes

                • Ensure that the required support is provided in all processes relating to:
                  • Marketing.
                  • Graphic Design.

                    Technology

                    • Use firm databases, technology and software applications to provide the required support of marketing and proposal requests.
