Well know Manufacturing company based in Parow Industria is looking for and HR Manger to join the team:
Duties but not limited to:
- Ensure HR initiatives are aligned with the overall business strategies.
- Provide HR support and advice to managers and staff.
- Participate as a member of the Executive Management Team.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process for all regions within the organisation.
- Manage Labour Relations - Internal Disciplinary hearings and external proceedings.
- Working labour brokers and monitoring procedures & regulations
- Working with Skills Academy & Colleges to accommodate & train students.
- Represent the organisation at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA).
- HR policy and procedure development, communication and ensure the compliance and implementation thereof.
- Oversee and manage all HR related administration.
- Knowledgeable of payroll system (Sage VIP) & processing of monthly payroll input and reporting.
- Ensure effective staff communication relating to HR matters.
- Facilitates all HR aspects of business-related audits Namely: Labour Department, ISO, Financial Year End etc.
- Manage the organisational performance management system.
- Actively build relationships and network with business units through effective communication and support.
- Retrenchments processes & tax directive applications
- Monthly submission; EMP201, Discovery, Old Mutual Funeral Fund, Union, Garnishees, MIBFA etc.
- Nurture a positive working environment, improve systems where possible and maintain good staff moral
- Implementation and facilitation of change and transformation processes and activities.
- Oversee weekly wage processing & negotiation
- Oversee and training and skills development.
- Compile HR related reports.
- Statutory reporting (EE/AA, BBBEE & MERSETA)
- Facilitate committee meetings Skills developments, Equity & Health and safety
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance; stays well-informed of pending and new legislation.
- Develops disciplinary documents for safety violations

- Hr Management: 8 to 9 years
- Payroll: 5 to 6 years
- Hr Admin: 7 to 8 years
- +/- 8 years' experience
- +/- 5 Payroll Experience - VIP preferably
- Working with 200-300 staff complement
- HR qualification will receive preference
- Good communication skills
- Good administrations skills
- Experience in the Metal Industry will receive preference
- Works well under pressure
