Description:
PURPPOSE OF JOB:
Provide administrative and operational support to the Health & Safety division in the coordination, implementation, and maintenance of the company's safety management programme across all sites. This role includes, but is not limited to assisting in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conduction safety inspections, implementing corrective actions, facilitate training while managing safety related administrative tasks.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Matric (Grade 12) Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g. SAMTRAC or NEBOSH) is highly advantageous. Valid drivers license. Computer literate - Proficient in MS office and SAGE. 3 to 5 years of experience in a safety related role. Experience in both administrative safety processes and on-site safety implementation. Previous experience in safety inspections, audits and compliance monitoring is an advantage.Attitude/Behavioral Requirements (Compulsory)
