Raw Material Stores Supervisor needed by global chemical manufacturing company, duties and requirements include:
- Supervise the Raw Materials Store
- Supervise staff including safety, discipline and delegation of duties
- Communicate effectively with other departments
- Receipt deliveries into ERP system
- Generate and print GRVs
- Transfer raw materials for costing batches
- Ensure data are accurate and up to date
- Conduct cycle counts and follow up on variances
- Ensure correct stock levels
- Organize stock takes
- Manage consignment stock
- Liaise with other departments as required
- Issue raw materials for production
- Assist in Forklift driving when required
- Generate and maintain FIFO system
- Control raw material sampling process, records and traceability
- Ensure compliance with the quality and health and safety system and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
