Description:
We are looking for an young vibrant individual who can join our small team.
The position is to assist the manager to ensure all Health and safety files and documentation is in order for the teams to commence/complete their projects.
Allais with the clients H&S officer in determining the requirements.
Allais with H&S subcontractor to draw up the site specific H&S file. Insure its approval and implementation.
H&S is not full time position thus the candidate will be required to assist the manager with general admin duties.
Includes: vehicle/tool/equipment/first aid/PPE checklists. General stock take and control. Ordering of consumables. Booking in and out of rental equipment, insuring it has been cleaned/inspected. Ensure plant/equipment/vehicles are serviced and recording of services and repairs. Reporting all losses/damages.
Assist in obtaining prices for quotations. General checks and balances.
Implementation of part codes and developing the process to control usages/movements.
Qualifications/Experience.
A person with Grade 12 (matric)
Experience, competency or qualifications in Health and safety - Training can be negotiated
Previous experience in an admin role.
Valid drivers license
Clean criminal record
Good communication skills/ Read, write - English/Afrikaans
Computer literacy- Excel spreadsheets /word/emails
Team player, Hard work ethics, respect good hygiene and presentation.
