Key Performance Areas:
Execute National Sales strategies via various Regions and dealers Dealer PMA, Target calculations and setting Ensure Dealer wholesale and retail target achievement Manage franchise standards and compliance Dealer KPI setting and measurement Collate and analyse COI (customer order information) - monthly Collate and analyse STR (showroom traffic information) - monthly Manage and coach Sales Area Managers â?? daily, weekly, monthly Develop and present a National Sales Plan for every new model launchâ??Sales SP Conduct Dealer interventions for non-achieving / non-performing dealers Manage and monitor stocking levels and pipeline flow for all dealers Develop and implement ad hock marketing activities / initiatives / events Monitor and control sales and marketing activities â?? DAF claims, Ad approval Implement effective fleet programme Monitor the Dealer sales funnel and operational process â?? ensure all dealers have a formal process in place, training of dealer staff where required Administrative â?? Monthly rebate schedule recon, NAAMSA reporting, issuing of bulletins & Automobile communications, processing of departmental payments, Innovation for extended warranty programme Presentation inputs - various Prepare and issue monthly newsletter Prepare monthly staff meeting presentation Support Annual Dealer Conference & Incentive programme Support for Automobile budget â?? cost containment and expense control Qualification Requirements:
Relevant 3-year Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing (Degree/Diploma) is a prerequisite / essential Valid Driverâ??s License Experience Requirements:
At least 5-10 yearsâ?? extensive experience in in automobile environment, which includes 3-5 years as Area Manager and/or Regional Sales Manager in an OEM environment At least 5 years as a National Sales manager Proven previous track record in similar position. Competency Requirements:
Leadership, Staff Management and Organisational skills Analytical, basic financial and strong business ethics and acumen Target Driven (Monthly) Strong Interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills Strong Negotiation skills Communication skills Service and Diversity orientated Ability to work under pressure for sales target Â
