A well-established beachfront venue in Yzerfontein is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Front of House Manager/Receptionist to oversee front desk operations and accommodation management. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless guest experiences, from reservations to check-out, while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Oversee guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate guest records and financial transactions.
- Ensure common areas and guest accommodations are clean and well-maintained.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to uphold service standards.
- Prepare daily reports and analyze trends to improve operations.
- Manage inventory of office and guest supplies, placing orders as needed.
- Uphold front office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure the reception area is always organized and welcoming.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of NightsBridge Property Management System is a plus.
