Key responsibilities:
Provide the following OpenText and Appworks Technical Application Specialist services for the PA Department: (Projects, Programmes, and new Demands)
Provide OpenText application functional support to the SARB applications for users in the SARB Group, namely the SARB and its subsidiaries. Drive business analysis initiatives for SARB applications enhancements, from the initiation to the implementation of projects. Facilitate workshops and consult with business owners and other stakeholders with regard to problem definition and the identification of business requirements/needs. Review business processes and procedures, analyse business requirements/needs and associated data, and identify possible solutions. Expand the scope and feasibility of solutions and develop the supporting business cases. Facilitate user requirement management throughout the system development life cycle. Manage change requirements and supporting specifications and provide functional specification and manage acceptance testing. Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality service and fit-for-purpose solutions. Configure complex business processes and tasks (where appropriate) within a system for improvement. Identify and register risks within their application functional streams. Configure (functional) the application as per approved business requirements and align with best practice. Develop systems training material and training plans, and present training courses in support of new application functions.
