Main Purpose of the Job (Overall Objective)
To provide financial support by working closely with the business unit heads to help develop and oversee a variety of projects related to the organization's revenue, annual statements etc. This role combines the financial oversight duties and coordination of project management. Ensure the integrity of the company’s financial systems and consistently enhance system capabilities; reduce inefficiencies through liaising between finance and IT and assist the end users to define their processes, problems, opportunities and needs and identifying the requirements to solve them. Develop the Finance IT systems roadmap for group services and ensure that this strategic plan is aligned to Group Finance requirements.
Key Performance Areas:
• Gathering and analyzing data, organizing reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Perform the role of a ‘process architect’ on projects, in consultation with the business and IT, understands the ‘bigger picture’, and strategic priorities which include the business and IT operating plans.
• To drive and report on financial system compliance through identification of non-compliance and adhoc data integrity testing.
• To implement control of financial systems by defining authorisation profiles for SAP finance users; ensuring adherence to segregation of duty standards.
• Report, develop, lead, and coordinate responsibilities of cross-functional teams.
