Key Responsibilities
Manage cashbook processing, payments, and bank reconciliations. Oversee daily, monthly, and annual cash flow forecasting. Administer the Coupa treasury system and ensure efficient treasury operations. Handle hedge accounting and foreign payments. Process general ledger journals and month-end close-off. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. Ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve process breakdowns. Manage VAT reconciliations and tax returns (VAT201, EMP201, Provisional Tax). Respond to SARS queries and stay up to date with tax regulations. Maintain fixed asset and tax asset registers, including depreciation management. Coordinate capital expenditure and ensure compliance. Supervise the invoicing clerk and provide backup support when required. Assist with ad hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.Requirements:
B.Com Accounting Degree (essential) with completed articles (advantageous). 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing. Strong understanding of financial management, taxation, and treasury operations.
