Description:
Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across North-West, Gauteng, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga. Consistently exceed sales targets and contribute to business expansion. Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the customer base. Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including lead qualification, meetings, and proposal creation. Maintain and renew contracts with existing clients while ensuring outstanding service. Keep accurate sales data and provide regular reports and forecasts to management. Collaborate with the Area Manager on planning for installations, training, and promotional activities. Conduct cold calling and proactively generate leads, preferably leveraging a strong South African Fruit Industry network. Attend exhibitions, roadshows, and industry conferences as required. Work closely with the central sales assistant to manage quotations. Monitor outstanding debtors within client accounts. Report to the Area Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Sales & Marketing Manager. Â
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management Strong negotiation and selling skills, with the ability to tailor solutions to customer needs. A proactive and results-driven mindset â?? a true sales hunter. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Strong administrative and organizational abilities. A driverâ??s license is a must. Fluency in English and Afrikaans. Knowledge of the South African Fruit Industry is a strong advantage Ability to perform well under pressure and work independently.
