Description:
We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology and a strong understanding of Office 365, Ubiquiti products, networking, and IT support. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line support, troubleshooting, and assisting in network administration across multiple sites. Own transport is essential as the role may require travel to different locations.Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line IT support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Administer and support Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Ubiquiti networking equipment, including UniFi access points, routers, and switches.

Assist with network setup, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPN configurations.

Install, configure, and support desktop and laptop systems, printers, and peripherals.

Monitor system performance and ensure IT infrastructure is operating efficiently.

Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and support requests.

Support users with basic cybersecurity awareness and best practices.

Travel to different sites as required for troubleshooting and installations (own transport required).Key Skills & Experience:

Experience working in an IT support or technician role.

Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.

Experience with Ubiquiti UniFi network management and hardware.

Basic knowledge of networking principles, including IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP, and DNS.

Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Server 2019+).

Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy.

Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.

A valid driving license and own transport is essential.Desirable Skills (Not Essential but Beneficial):

Experience with Azure Active Directory and Intune.

Knowledge of basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash).

Familiarity with VOIP systems and telephony support.

Any relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Ubiquiti certifications, etc.).
