Are you an operational risk expert with a passion for driving transformation? A prominent Bank in Kenya is seeking a dynamic Group Director of Operational Risk to lead the execution of its Group operational risk framework.Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, this high-impact role focuses on identifying, assessing, managing, and monitoring operational risks, with a special emphasis on scenario analysis, risk appetite, and capital assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
Rolling out the operational risk framework across the Bank, leading a talented team, and providing crucial insights to the Risk Management Committee. You'll work closely with senior leaders to ensure operational risks are well-managed, and performance dashboards are clear and actionable.
Requirements To Meet Prior To Applying:
Minimum 10 years of operational risk management experience, with at least 5 years in leadership. Banking experience 10+ years. A university Degree and operational risk qualifications. Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel. Exceptional communication abilities to influence and inspire stakeholders.
