Do you have an amiable personality that works very well in understanding people and their difficult circumstances in order to be the right fit for our client’s family law practice? Our National client, with a new office in Cape Town CBD, requires your Legal Corporate Secretarial experience, highly organised and meticulous in drafting of legal documents, and assisting a Senior Attorney.They are an extraordinary Law Firm, providing an integrative and client centred approach as opposed to the conventional approach to family law. REQUIREMENTS
  • Paralegal certification, degree in paralegal studies or related qualification
  • Minimum three yearsâ work experience
  • Excellent computer proficiency, legal research and investigative skills
  • Strong understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Independent worker who can exercise discretion and good judgment
  • Excellent organization skill, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills

DUTIES
  • Draft legal agreements, assist with execution of agreements.
  • Maintain a database of company legal documentations and other legal activities
  • Provide support for the legal team
  • Support and perform research on legal topics
  • Assist general counsel on corporate governance matters
  • Assist in legal projects to improve efficiency and transparency within the department and to internal clients
  • Assists with special projects as assigned
