Have you been successful with managing the internal sales function of "parts" required for any industry similar to motor vehicles, machinery etc.? Our client in Cape Town CBD is growing and adding an additional Internal Sales representative to join their young, dynamic team. In this role you will primarily attend to enquiries from clients and process orders. ESSENTIAL to be able to communicate in English & Afrikaans! REQUIREMENTS- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Computer literate with experience using MS Office
- Any ERP software experience eg Pastel, Syspro or other
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Stock management experience
- Ability to work well in a team and support various functions when needed
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Handle direct, telephonic, WhatsApp, internet and email sales and enquiries
- Ensure smooth sales experience for clients
- Follow through on client requests, quotes and queries
- Canvassing of new clients to grow sales portfolio
- Oversee stock control and conduct regular stock counts
- Keep stock organized and accessible
- Manage the cash float and ensure accurate handling of cash received from customers
- Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area and storeroom
- Unpack stock and manage inventory as new products arrive
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required by management
