CFW Fans (Pty) Ltd, an SABS ISO 9001 certified company, holds a prominent market position in Southern Africa, specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of fans for the industrial, mining, power generation, and HVAC sectors.
Since its founding as Continental Fan Works in 1966, CFW has built extensive expertise and knowledge, establishing itself as a trusted supplier of industrial fans to leading corporations both within South Africa and internationally.
The company employs a diverse workforce with a strong skill set in engineering. We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Experience in PLC programming (DELTA)
- Experience in different VFDs (Programming and setting up)
- Experience in setting up electrical diagrams
- Panel building experience
- Project commissioning and management experience
- Costings/quoting experience
- Leadership experience
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Industry experience, particularly in HVAC, ventilation, or related applications is advantageous
- Proficient in PLC (DELTA) programming, VFD setup, electrical diagram creation, and panel building
- Strong project management skills, including commissioning, costing, and quoting
- Leadership experience with a proven track record in managing teams and overseeing technical operations
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans; valid driver’s license essential; Wireman’s license considered a plus
