Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Candidate Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Contractor's team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer eager to gain hands-on experience in electrical system design, testing, and implementation. You will work under the supervision of senior engineers/consultants and contribute to various projects, including power systems, electronics, control systems, and infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.

Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.

Support the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.

Conduct site inspections, data collection, and performance evaluations.
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and software engineers.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Participate in troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and failure analysis.

Assist in preparing technical reports and project documentation.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Internship or cooperative education experience in electrical engineering is a plus.

Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, or similar).

Basic understanding of electrical circuits, systems, and safety standards.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification preferred or willing to obtain.
Work Environment:

Office and occasional field/site work.

Must be able to travel to job sites as needed.

May involve occasional lifting of equipment and working in various weather conditions.
