Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Management:
Handle tenant applications, lease agreements, onboarding, and day-to-day communication.
- Lease Administration:
Prepare and maintain accurate lease documentation in line with legal and internal standards.
- Rent Collection & Financials:
Generate invoices, track payments, follow up on arrears, and assist with landlord payouts.
- Maintenance Coordination:
Log maintenance requests, liaise with service providers, and ensure timely resolution.
- Landlord Communication:
Provide regular updates, reports, and professional support to property owners.
- Compliance & Inspections:
Schedule property inspections and ensure all rentals comply with legal and safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in property administration or rental management (1–3 years preferred).
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., PayProp, PropCtrl; PropCon etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of local rental legislation (e.g., Rental Housing Act, POPIA, FICA) is advantageous.
