Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill a dual role as Junior Accountant and Personal Assistant (PA) to the Lodge General Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow their accounting skills while gaining valuable exposure to executive-level support and broader business operations. ResponsibilitiesAccounting Duties:
- Assist with daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, cash books, journals, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely data entry into accounting systems
- Prepare financial summaries and reports as requested by management
- Support monthly closing procedures and assist with internal audits
- Reconcile supplier and customer statements
- Provide assistance in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the General Manager
- Manage the GM’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and internal communications
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on behalf of the GM
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–4 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience preferred
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanour and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic environment
