Description:

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the dual role of Junior Accountant and Personal Assistant (PA) to the General Manager. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting skills while also gaining exposure to executive-level support and business operations. Key Responsibilities:Accounting Duties:Assist with daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, cash books, journals and bank reconciliationsPrepare financial reports and summaries as directed by managementMaintain accurate records of financial documents and data entry in accounting softwareSupport monthly closing processes and internal auditsReconcile supplier and customer statementsProvide support during budgeting and forecasting processes Personal Assistant Duties:Provide administrative and organizational support to the General ManagerManage the GM’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangementsPrepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and documentationHandle confidential and sensitive information with discretionLiaise with internal departments on behalf of the GM Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-4 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience preferred
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure
  • Professional demeanour and ability to maintain confidentiality

Requirements:
