Description:
Hire Resolve’s client in the Engineering industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Maintenance Technician in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and fix technical and machine malfunctions to keep production running smoothly and minimize downtime.
- Work with production colleagues to quickly restore production lines after issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections, and conduct necessary analyses to proactively address potential problems.
- Analyse and resolve recurring electrical and control system problems, including proposing and implementing solutions.
- Identify and resolve malfunctions using various programming and measuring tools.
- Modify control systems and software programs as needed.
Requirements:
- A Matric or N4 qualification.
- An Electrical, Millwright, or Instrumentation Trade Test, or an N6 Instrumentation Technician Diploma.
- N1-N6 qualifications are highly beneficial.
- A valid South African Driver's License.
- Fluency in Afrikaans is essential.
- Completion of a 3-year apprenticeship.
- At least 1 year of post-trade test work experience from any industry.
- Proficiency in control techniques and PLC applications (e.g., Siemens S7/TIA Portal).
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
