Description:

Hire Resolve’s client in the Engineering industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Maintenance Technician in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and fix technical and machine malfunctions to keep production running smoothly and minimize downtime.
  • Work with production colleagues to quickly restore production lines after issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections, and conduct necessary analyses to proactively address potential problems.
  • Analyse and resolve recurring electrical and control system problems, including proposing and implementing solutions.
  • Identify and resolve malfunctions using various programming and measuring tools.
  • Modify control systems and software programs as needed.

Requirements:

  • A Matric or N4 qualification.
  • An Electrical, Millwright, or Instrumentation Trade Test, or an N6 Instrumentation Technician Diploma.
  • N1-N6 qualifications are highly beneficial.
  • A valid South African Driver's License.
  • Fluency in Afrikaans is essential.
  • Completion of a 3-year apprenticeship.
  • At least 1 year of post-trade test work experience from any industry.
  • Proficiency in control techniques and PLC applications (e.g., Siemens S7/TIA Portal).
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
