Are you a skilled and passionate nursing professional ready to take your clinical expertise to the next level? We're looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) with a strong background in Theatre to lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care.As a CNS, you'll serve as a clinical leader and expert within your specialty—providing advanced care, mentoring staff, contributing to training initiatives, and playing a key role in quality improvement and research. Key Responsibilities- Deliver expert-level care in a Theatre environment
- Act as a clinical resource to staff and learners
- Lead staff development and mentorship
- Drive quality improvement and implement best practices
- Contribute to research and evidence-based protocols
- Promote clinical governance and uphold national healthcare standards
- Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF Level 4)
- Registered Professional Nurse with SANC (or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification)
- 12-month post-basic qualification in Theatre nursing (essential)
- 2–5 years of Theatre experience
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, best practices & risk management
- Leadership, mentoring, and teaching experience
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development
- Ability to problem-solve and make critical clinical decisions in fast-paced environments
