Job Title: Operations ManagerIndustry: ManufacturingWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to report directly to the CEO of a leading manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing warehouse and manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless operations across all facets of the business.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility and warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Manage and implement ISO standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ensure adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures for inventory and stock management.
- Handle logistics, stock takes, and ensure efficient distribution of products.
- Monitor security systems and work closely with security personnel to maintain facility safety.
- Coordinate and manage the stock control system, reviewing stock levels, reordering materials, and avoiding production delays.
- Collaborate with the CEO on strategic operational decisions, acting as a trusted right hand to ensure operational excellence.
- Implement and maintain environmental management procedures to meet company sustainability goals.
- Prepare and present regular operational reports to the CEO.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant Degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in managing operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with ISO standards, health and safety regulations, and logistics management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and projects effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management, stock control, and logistics systems.
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership, offering strategic insight and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling high-pressure situations.
