Key Responsibilities: Meter Reading & Oversight
Approve and monitor meter reading schedules (2832 day cycles) Ensure timely finalization and accuracy of readings Resolve access issues and escalate non-compliance when needed Billing & ProcessingAlign reading periods with billing dates Approve imports from MDM, PNP, and MeterConnect systems Oversee variance and performance report updates Approve final billing files and ensure landlord policy compliance Exception Management & Special Billing
Oversee solar, generator, and special billing accuracy Monitor and document irregularities, faulty equipment, and exceptions Client Reporting & Query Resolution
Ensure accurate, on-time submission of utility files to clients Oversee resolution of client/tenant queries within 72 hours Team & Process Leadership
Lead utility administrators and provide formal/informal training Define performance goals, monitor progress, and give feedback Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams Client Engagement
Attend monthly utility meetings and ad hoc sessions with landlords and tenants Maintain open, professional communication with all stakeholders
Requirements:
Matric with Maths and Accounting (mandatory) Tertiary qualification (diploma/degree) preferred 35 years in utility management or property utility admin Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, large datasets) Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsKey Competencies:
