Our client, Asara Wine Estate and Hotel based in Stellenbosch , is looking for an energetic HR and Payroll Officer with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and a focus on effective personnel and admin management.
The incumbent will report to the CEO and will be responsible for: *Recruitment and selection *Benefits administration *Personnel records and administration *Employment equity *Training coordination and reporting *Industrial relations (including daily discipline management) *Coordination of induction and learnership programmes *Wages and Payroll *Supporting of ethical audits.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or related field;
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position;
• VIP Payroll experience essential;
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);
• Labour legislation knowledge with application in the Agricultural and Hospitality industries;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Sage VIP);
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
