Description:
To drive vehicle sales by identifying customer needs, presenting vehicle options, and closing deals in a professional and customer-focused manner. The Vehicle Sales Executive plays a key role in achieving dealership targets and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage walk-in and online customers, establish needs, and recommend suitable vehicles. Conduct test drives, demonstrate features, and explain specifications and pricing. Negotiate deals within authorized guidelines and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the dealership’s inventory, promotions, and financing options. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by management. Follow up on leads and conduct cold calling when necessary. Assist clients with trade-in evaluations and finance applications. Maintain relationships with existing customers for repeat business and referrals. Ensure vehicles are prepared and presented to showroom standards. Work collaboratively with the sales and admin team to ensure smooth vehicle delivery.Requirements:
Qualifications:
Grade 12 / Matric (minimum) Sales training or automotive industry certifications (advantageous)Experience:
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in vehicle sales (new or used) with a high-volume Brand Proven sales track record in a dealership environment Knowledge of financing, insurance products, and trade-insSkills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation and closing ability Confident, professional, and customer-focused Tech-savvy with basic computer skills (e.g., CRM systems, Excel, emails) Valid Code B driver’s license
