What you'll need
- Minimum 3-5 years of IT support experience in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Firewall Management (VPN, QoS, routing, NAT, etc.).
- Expertise in Ubiquiti UniFi networking solutions, including controller setup and network optimization.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification.
- 3CX VoIP
- ITIL certification is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V .
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices, including endpoint protection, EDR, SOC and patch management.
- Cybersecurity practices and technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- South African citizenship with a valid Identification Document
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License and access to own vehicle is essential
- Comptia A+ or N+ certification (international) is essential
- National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology advantageous
