Description:

The position is to fill for a maternity leave period of +4 months. NO chances as the successful applicant must have a working knowledge of HR as this is for a FTC.

The position is effective from Mid July 25 to end of Nov, or mid December 2025.

Maintaining and updating HR leave records, loading new staff, termination of new staff: Payroll system, we use is Psiber/payroll; Biometric/Access control - monitor and maintain data integrity - includes loading uses onto Biometric, updating/daily, weekly, monthly - assisting supervisors and trouble shooting; Involved with Skills Development and project management of learnerships and apprenticeships; Will be involved in the EE process, until time of subsmission of report. Will be involved with the BBBEE Audit process, with particular reference to the collation of data/information for the auditors; co-ordinating the BBBEE audit with the guidance of the HR Manager. Requires understanding of Mgt control; Skills development; Pref Procurement - ED, SD & SED.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: 10 years or more
  • Payroll Support: 10 years or more
  • Hris Database Management: 5 to 6 years
  • Legislative Issues: 10 years or more

HR related qualification, Higher diploma /alternatively N6/alternativel NQFL5 qualification in HR/or related qualification with at least plus 10 years experience in HR.

The successful incumbent must have a full working knowledge of the different tools used in HR such as the HR Managment system; Including Psiber/payroll and Admin; Leave Management including different types of leave; MERSETA NSDM system; Employment Equity Registry for loading report for January 2026 submission. BBBEE Audit - Data collection - see task above

Will require general knowledge of Employment & labour Relations; Recruitment & Selection; LOA; Temporary Employee Services; Worked with labour Brokers; FTC; Knowledge and intepretation of the relevant labour legislations/BCEA/EE/SDA etc

Working knowledge of Biometrics/access control

Familiarisation with Industry main agreement, metals/plastics can be of benefit; Understanding an application of the different allowances and basic rates.

Further guidance will be given by HR Manager.

General HR administration skills & HR Policy guidance

Any additional content will be discussed in the interview. The Succesfuk Incumbent will be required to start Mid July, for handover. This might be a good opportunity for someone who is in the job market and can start afresh in the new year, while completing this FTC.
