Description:
Handle daily financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
Process supplier invoices and manage timely creditor payments
Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding debtors
Maintain accurate financial records and assist with monthly reports
Track daily sales and expenses in collaboration with operations
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
Process staff claims and support budgeting and forecasting
Assist with audits and liaise with internal and external auditors
Perform administrative duties, including insurance and data record management
Manage data lines and vendor coordination on-site
Maintain strong supplier relationships
Lead creditors and debtors functions, with a focus on creditors
Support procurement and daily business operations
Conduct financial reconciliations with solid knowledge of accounting principles
Skills & Experience:
Experience: A minimum of 35 years of relevant experience in finance, particularly handling creditors and debtors functions, with a strong focus on creditors management
Systems & Tools: Proficient in Pastel accounting software or similar platforms
Experience with manual data processing, as the current systems do not utilize automation, requiring attention to detail and efficiency
Industry: Experience in the food services and hospitality industry is preferred, but candidates from related industries are also welcome to apply
Key Competencies: Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain up-to-date insurance files and other documentation
Excellent reconciliation skills, with a solid understanding of debits, credits, and financial balancing
Ability to manage both creditors and debtors, ensuring smooth operations and financial accuracy
Strong communication skills for working effectively with internal teams and external third-party suppliers
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, manual environment, with the ability to stay organized and meet deadlines.

Qualification:
Minimum: Matric
Advantageous: Tertiary education in Finance or a related field
