Description:
The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Assistant is to manage all movements of stock in and out in the Warehouse including picking orders for customers for dispatch, helping clients with collections and receiving goods from suppliers. The Warehouse Assistant will also be responsible for helping on days that the production team is busy with bottling and labelling at the Cellar.
The Warehouse Assistant will also be responsible for driving and doing deliveries when the Driver is not able to perform these tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 2 +years’ experience
- Valid Forklift/Stacker License
- Valid South African Driver’s License with PDP – OWN TRANSPORT
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Must take pride in appearance of warehouse, vehicles and machinery and has good attention to detail
DUTIES
- Responsible For All Movements In And Out Of The Warehouse Including Receiving Goods and Picking Orders.
- Responsible for daily Vehicle Checklists
- Loading And Off-Loading Of Trucks
- Daily Housekeeping Of Warehouse
- Driving & Deliveries – ONLY when needed
