Hire Resolve's client is a leading company in the manufacturing sector, seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team in Cape Town . The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of plant equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and make necessary repairs in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
-
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement efforts.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Assist with the installation of new machinery or upgrades to existing equipment.
Requirements:

N6 or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Trade Test (Millwright, Fitter, or Electrician) is essential.

Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Willingness to work shifts or respond to after-hours emergencies when needed.
