Warehouse Supervisor Somerset West Cape Town
Our warehouse client in Somerset West is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor with 4-5 years experience in supervising warehouse staff and warehouse operations. Reporting to operations manager. Managing warehouse assistants and adhoc staff when needed.

Requirements and preferred experience
Matric
Five years experience working in warehouse supervision/management and/or stock control.
Experience with export freight forwarding and clearing essential
Forklift license advantageous.
Experience with FMCG
Job Responsibilities
Supervisor of Warehouse operations and supervising 3 warehouse staff reporting to operations manager
Experience with Goods receiving/dispatch
Variance reporting - communicate to procurement and arrange uplift/resupply
Responsible for picking accuracy
Ordering warehouse packaging and office materials
Maintain and report on Warehouse assets
Develop warehouse team abilities/skills
Inventory management - Report on redundant/slow moving stock
Develop optimised consignment stock re-orders
Planning and booking freight including couriers
Export documentation for cross-border dispatch and Checking manifests
Communicating dispatches to clients and destination warehouses
Review and upgrade of all dispatch documentation
