Our client, a large multi-disciplinary company with offices across South Africa, is looking for a Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Design to join their growing team in Bellville !
What you will need:
· Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Civil Engineering or related field
· 4-8 years relevant experience post qualification
· Professionally registered with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa)
· Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools
· Strong knowledge of infrastructure design principles and practices
· Experience in project management and coordination
· Knowledge of relevant South African building codes and standards
· Experience with sustainable design practices
Your responsibilities will include:
· Execute specific and critical components of broader engineering assignments with precision and attention to detail.
· Systematically collect and analyze essential engineering data using established protocols and methodologies.
· Undertake detailed engineering tasks involving complex calculations and specialized testing procedures.
· Develop and propose innovative solutions to address novel engineering challenges.
· Conduct thorough analyses to identify and resolve discrepancies in engineering results.
· Provide mentorship and technical guidance to entry-level engineers, fostering their professional development.
· Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by adhering to agreed-upon budgets and schedules while working under moderate supervision.
