Description:
As the Assistant General Manager, youll play a key operational and leadership role within the hotel. Working closely with the General Manager, youll be responsible for the smooth running of all departments, delivering exceptional guest service, and fostering a positive and professional work culture. Youll act as a vital link between senior management and department heads to ensure our guests receive the highest standard of care and hospitality.Candidate requirements;
- Must have 58 years in a hospitality leadership role, preferably within a hotel setting.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in the F&B department.
- Must have excellent leadership, problem-solving, and guest relations skills.
- Be a strong communicator with sound administrative abilities.
- Must have working knowledge of hotel systems (PlusPoint, Apex, or Central a nice-to-have).
- Must be proactive, organized, service-focused, and composed under pressure.Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily hotel operations across departments, including Food & Beverage, Reception, Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance.
- Lead and support Duty Managers and departmental teams to maintain seamless service flow.
- Uphold and enhance the guest experience, handling feedback and resolving complaints with professionalism.
- Drive staff engagement through training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Support cost control, stock management, and financial compliance processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Represent the General Manager when needed and act as senior manager on duty.
- Contribute to strategic planning, reporting, and service innovation initiatives. Flexibility: Available to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
