You would ideally come from a payments gateway business or a similar fintech/commercial company where long cycle B2B processes are the norm. Minimum 2 years in a similar role. We could consider people from consulting, tech or financial services with a similar function who also have strong knowledge of technical sales and have the personality to want to work in a fast paced and ambiguous start up environment. Some examples of technical sales people that could work are people that sell systems like Salesforce, Microsoft, Oracle, etc to other corporates.You would have a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, and would have excellent knowledge and ability in sales pipeline strategy and implementation. Not only will you be an exceptional sales person, but also strong on driving the onboarding process and the admin the goes with that too (structured).
You would be used to long, technical and detailed sales processes and have the ability to negotiate and hold your own with C-Suite Execs from some of the largest companies in SA. Payments experience would be great but not essential.
