Our client, a large consulting company with offices across South Africa, is looking for a Civil Engineering Technologist to join their growing team in Cape Town!
What you will need:
- Higher Diploma / B Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience.
- Working knowledge and experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D design software, including the following:
- Generate surface profiles
- Import / Export DTM files
- Generate road and pipe profiles
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the design of civil infrastructure (Roads, water, sewerage, stormwater and related infrastructure) under supervision of senior professionals.
- Compilation of plans for civil infrastructure.
- Develop Bills of Quantities and cost estimates for civil infrastructure.
- Prepare reports and document project activities.
- Inspect project sites and evaluate contracts’ work.
