Africa Experience is a leading tourism company based in Somerset West, South Africa, specialising in providing exceptional travel experiences across Southern and East Africa. The organisation is represented in multiple countries across Sub-Saharan Africa as well as in Germany. We are currently seeking an experienced Junior IT Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the ICT Manager
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware problems
- Set up and configure computers, user accounts, printers, and software installations
- Maintain IT asset registers and documentation
- Perform routine system updates and maintenance tasks
- Assist with on-site and remote support for end-users
- Escalate complex problems to senior technicians or IT management
- Support the implementation of IT projects and rollouts
Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
Relevant IT Certificate or Diploma (e.g., CompTIA A+, N+, ITIL, or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and general networking
Valid South African ID and preferably a valid driver’s license
