Description:
It is the role of the FDC to welcome guests to the Sorbet store & coordinate the activities of the citizens to achieve the best possible guest service. As a Front Desk Coordinator, you are the first line of contact that guests have with the brand, therefore a friendly, professional guest orientated approach is key to the role.
Responsibilities:
1. Welcome all guests to the store by displaying a friendly, warm and professional attitude
2. Fully knowledgeable on all treatments in order to advise guests on all treatments in the menu.
3. Advise guests and sell retail products when therapists are unavailable.
4. Actively promotes and up/cross sells treatments at front desk.
5. Actively promote rebooking of next appointment
6. Understand the Sorbet Loyalty Program, and offer the loyalty program sign up to ALL guests who visit the store.
7. Accurately book appointments and / or handle changes made to appointments
8. Handle guest questions and concerns in a professional and accurate manner.
9. Answer calls in a friendly professional manner.
10. Handle appointments.
11. Manage citizens work schedule /rosters.
13. Responsible for managing store opening& closing procedures.
14. Manage and is responsible for Stock counts& inventory control
16. Responsible for receiving stock and capturing invoices
17. Manage guest complaints.
18. Assist with invoice filing and controls.
19. Manage cash takings,daily banking& cash up
21. Maintains a clean professional working environment by doing regular hygiene checks.
22. Maintains a clean &organised front desk, as per Franchise regulations.
23. Maintains accurate stock levels and expired stock with the Franchise Partner.
24. Communicate to the Franchise Partner any citizen / guest problems that may arise
26. Manage and implement monthly / weekly marketing campaigns and ensure the correct collateral is displayed in line with marketing time lines.
27. Perform any other reasonable requests and tasks related to the maintenance of the business as requested by management from time to time.
29. Read and understand the requirements, rules& protocols of the brand.uphold the reputation of the brand at all times.
31. Assist in additional general operational work, as required by the Franchise Partner or Franchisor (cleaning of communal areas, stock takes, etc.)
32. Flexibility with shift times to accommodate attendance of Talk Shows &Training as required by the company.
Key Competencies:
- Min qualification: Matric
- Computer Literate.
- Exceptional communication skills (spoken & written).
- Organised &systematic.
- Detail orientated.
- Must possess an aptitude for basic math and money handling skills.
- Punctual and honest.
- Able to function under pressure
- Manage conflict situations
